Facebook Location App Gets Updated But Goes Missing

It’s indeed a disappointment if any application gets a new look or an upgrade and fails to reach its end users. And such kind of disappointment Facebook users are facing over a location application that went for an upgrade but is available only on selected pages.
Facebook has successfully launched its Location apps which aid the users in locating various business places that are within their ambit. This feature is said to be designed according to the old Facebook layout and hence it’s not compatible with the new TIMELINE LAYOUT.
Facebook Location Application went on floors in August, 2011. The main objective behind releasing Facebook Location Application was to make it as a part of parent-child page management tool. However, in spite of its increase in demand and prolonged wait, it seems Facebook might restrict its use to business and selective partners like Starbucks, Home Depot; Lowes etc seems to be using Facebook Location Application to leverage the business opportunities.
How does Facebook Location Application works on a page? This application slates Company’s or store’s information on a Bing Map. The users can search it by the city or state name or even by a zip code.
Partners can manage their corporate or local pages by making use of Basic Admin Interface and Pages API.
